Elderflu Adults is a food supplement for adults and children over 8 years of age, which strengthens their immunity and helps to prevent and better deal with flu or cold viruses. It is in syrup form and has a pleasant lemon taste. Contains:

• Black elderberry: a plant rich in flavonoids (the most powerful antioxidants that exist), which, according to the European Medicines Agency (EMA), and the Herbal Medicines Committee (HMPC), has been approved for use as a traditional herbal aid in dealing with the symptoms of the common cold.
• Vitamin C: helps with normal immune function, better absorption of iron, reduction of tiredness and fatigue, as well as protection of cells from oxidative stress.*
• Vitamin D: a wealth of research in recent years has revealed the importance of vitamin D for normal immune function. In addition, it helps the normal functioning of muscles and bones, which are often depressed during an infection.*
• Vitamin E: antioxidant vitamin that protects cells from oxidative stress.*
• Zinc: contributes to the normal function of the immune system*, while it can help to reduce the symptoms (e.g. cough, sore throat) and the duration of the common cold**.

Research results:

• Research has shown that black elderberry when taken prophylactically results in:

1. 50% fewer episodes of colds
2. 33% shorter duration of illness
3. 50% less symptoms
4. 33% less severe symptoms

• If Elderflu is taken within the first 48 hours of the onset of the virus, it shortens the duration of illness and speeds recovery.**
