Known herb since antiquity, as from the 18th century it was an acceptable sedative, but it was also used for nervous conditions associated with digestive problems. The active ingredients of valerian include alkaloids, volatile oils and iridescent, with the more active substance being valerenic acid, which is chemically related to GABA, thus helping to maintain its levels. Healthy levels of GABA in the body create the substrate for a proper functioning of the nervous system and consequently the quality of sleep.

Shake well before use and put 20-30 drops (about 1ml) in a small amount of hot water and leave for 2 to 3 minutes, for the alcohol to evaporate. It is taken 2-3 times a day.
