Base of Herbal Infusions
APIVITA replaces water with biological infusions that give its products mainly antioxidant properties. Given that water in most cosmetic products corresponds to over 70% of their composition, APIVITA’s products are inherently rich in antioxidant ingredients. The effectiveness of the infusions chosen each time is proven by scientific methods. Their antioxidant activity is measured with the FRAP method, while the ability of the infusions to neutralize free radicals with the DPPH method. Organic green tea, which is used as a base in many products, was chosen as it is rich in polyphenols with significant antioxidant activity, while it has antiseptic, anti-irritant and anti-inflammatory properties, rejuvenating and moisturizing the skin.
