Vitamin D3 is produced by the photolytic action of ultraviolet radiation on the skin. Although any organism can produce vitamin D3, the modern lifestyle and insufficient exposure to sunlight, results in vitamin D3 deficiency, which must be obtained through food, as its role in maintaining it organism in good condition is important.

Vitamin D3 plays an essential role in maintaining the homeostasis of calcium and phosphorus and, consequently, in maintaining healthy bones and teeth. In addition, vitamin D3 is involved in tissue metabolism and its presence in sufficient quantities is essential for the differentiation of cells and the maintenance of membrane function, as well as for the function of various organs such as skin, muscles, pancreas, nerves, the parathyroid gland and the immune system.

Vitamin K is a fat-soluble vitamin. Vitamin K2 can in turn be divided into two additional categories: MK-4 (menakinone-4) and MK-7 (menakinone-7). Almost 80% of the population does not get enough vitamin K2 from their diet, a similar percentage of vitamin D deficiency. Taking vitamin D in our body leads to the creation of proteins, which depend on their action on vitamin K2, and help in better transport of calcium to the bones. If there is no K2 in our body, osteocalcin becomes inactive and calcium circulates freely in our blood.

Vitamin K2 is extremely important for strengthening bones and maintaining clean areas such as arteries and soft tissues from being left with too much calcium. Vitamin K in combination with vitamin D significantly increases bone density, compared to only vitamin K. The new forms of D3fix + K2 that are released are the following: D3fix 800IU + 45mcg K2, D3fix 1200IU + 45mcggI 2000, K2, D3fix 4000IU + 45mcg K2.
